Interventional Radiology Technologist

About the role

We are seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a dedicated imaging team, delivering high-quality imaging services in a top-ranked, Magnet® designated hospital committed to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Perform studies independently across various advanced imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, and Cardiac Catheterization.
• Provide quality control and ensure prompt, courteous, and compassionate service to patients and physicians.

Requirements

• Associate or Trade School education.
• Certifications including RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; CPR and Intravenous Therapy preferred.
• Preferred experience of less than 2 years in a clinical setting.
• Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI).

Skills

• Ability to perform imaging procedures accurately and independently.
• Strong patient care skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to participate in call, weekend, and holiday rotations.

Pay

Competitive pay rate with a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

Schedule

Work hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with call and on-call responsibilities.
