About the role

The UC Davis School of Medicine, Department of Radiology is actively recruiting for one full-time Diagnostic Pediatric Radiologist in the Professor of Clinical "X" Series or Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series, at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank (commensurate with experience and credentials).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct substantial research
  • Provide patient care
  • Teach fellows, residents, and medical students
  • Perform public and University service
  • Expertise in most aspects of General Pediatric Radiology (excluding Neuroradiology, Interventional radiology, and Nuclear Medicine)
  • Contribute to scholarly activities

Requirements

  • M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree
  • Fellowship trained in Pediatric Radiology or equivalent work experience
  • Documented interest in research and teaching
  • Licensed or eligible for full licensure in the State of California, including eligibility obtained under a 2113 CA special permit

Qualifications

  • Excellent teaching skills
  • Experience with clinical responsibilities including all areas of pediatric radiology (radiographs, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI)
  • Ability to provide clinical service coverage at UC Davis Children's Hospital and Shriners Hospitals for Children
  • Participation in multidisciplinary conferences
  • Membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan
