Radiology Intern (Non-Exempt)

Position Overview The Radiology Supervisor, Manager, or Director of Imaging Services, under supervision, performs diagnostic radiology procedures to obtain high-quality images. They provide personalized patient care, respecting patient dignity across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform radiographic imaging procedures, manipulating equipment and exposure factors.Ensure optimal image quality for diagnostic purposes.Transport and position patients safely, recognizing emergency situations.Adhere to safety and patient care standards in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; enrolled in second year of a recognized Radiologic Technology program.Current BLS certification.Effective communication skills in English and basic computer knowledge.Physical ability to lift, move patients, manipulate equipment, and stand or walk for extended periods.Ability to adapt quickly to changing workloads and recognize emergencies.
