Purpose
The Radiology Information Processor/Receptionist is responsible for greeting and responding to the needs of all patients and customers entering the Radiology Department.
Responsibilities
- Answer telephones
- Process patient order requests
- Obtain patient information for the release of reports and films
- Accurately prepare films for release
- Maintain knowledge of the Radiology film library and work in that area
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Experience in a related role (preferred)
