Radiology/Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including bone scans, cardiac stress tests, thyroid scans, and more, with a focus on image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
• Interpret examination requests and understand organ functions and systems.
• Utilize appropriate methods and techniques to identify organs on digital displays or film, judging image acceptability for diagnosis.
• Work independently to conduct nuclear medicine procedures, emphasizing patient safety and image quality.
• Perform 4-8 cases daily across various nuclear medicine procedures.
• Accurately interpret exam requests and execute procedures accordingly.
• Ensure high-quality images for diagnostic purposes and collaborate with physicians.

Requirements

• Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology by NMTCB or ARRT (N).
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum of three years of experience in nuclear medicine exams.
• Knowledge of radiological systems, anatomy, and procedural techniques.
