Responsibilities
- Perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Review patient history and physician's orders.
- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
- Assist with imaging exams in multiple modalities.
- Perform various clerical duties and assist with diagnostic exams.
- Prepare equipment and supplies.
- Transport patients.
Requirements
- Current 2nd year student of a program of discipline.
- Basic Life Support.
- Radiation Operator license through the state Board of Radiology, ARRT within 12 months of graduation.
