Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of Radiology Departmental functions
• Maintains the performance of the operational aspects of a designated unit(s) while providing mentoring and leadership support to the unit(s) staff
• Delegates appropriate tasks to appropriate personnel, consistent with legal and professional guidelines and departmental standards
• Demonstrates knowledge and educates staff concerning the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the unit, department, and hospital
• Identifies appropriate internal controls of department; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance
• Performs related duties as required

Qualifications

• Required:
• Experience: 5 years technical experience and 2 years management experience
• Education: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program; Bachelor's Degree
• Licensure/Certifications: BLS, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• State license if required
• Preferred:
• Education: Master's degree
• Licensure/Certifications: Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA)
