Responsibilities
- Thorough knowledge of Radiology Departmental functions
- Maintains the performance of the operational aspects of a designated unit(s) while providing mentoring and leadership support to the unit(s) staff
- Delegates appropriate tasks to appropriate personnel, consistent with legal and professional guidelines and departmental standards
- Demonstrates knowledge and educates staff concerning the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the unit, department, and hospital
- Identifies appropriate internal controls of department; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance
- Performs related duties as required
Qualifications
- Required:
- Experience: 5 years technical experience and 2 years management experience
- Education: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program; Bachelor's Degree
- Licensure/Certifications: BLS, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- State license if required
- Preferred:
- Education: Master's degree
- Licensure/Certifications: Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA)
