Radiology Assistant I

POSITION SUMMARY: The Radiology Assistant I transports patients to and from the Medical Imaging Department, prepares patients for their imaging exam, assists the technologists with care of the patient as needed, and provides clerical support to the department.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED
• Experience: N/A
• Licensure/ Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association
• Other Skills/ Knowledge:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensure/ Certification: Certificate of Radiology Assistant

Expected pay for this position is $17.00 – $18.89/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
