Job Description
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide excellent patient care.
Under the direct supervision and guidance of a radiologist, perform various diagnostic radiology procedures/exams.
Administers and/or orders intravenous medication and contrast media, under the supervision of a Radiologist.
Evaluates medical images, reviews preliminary reports and images with a supervising Radiologist.
Dictates technical reports that will be reviewed and signed off by the supervising Radiologist.
Verifies and reviews referring clinician's order prior to performing exam and determines appropriateness of exam/procedure ordered.
Reviews images and provides feedback of studies performed by the supervising radiologist.
Responsible for gaining consents for procedures, pre/post procedure order-writing, and dictating in PACS.
Must be proficient in performing arthrograms.
Requirements
Advanced knowledge of MRI imaging procedures.
Patient assessment and clinical history review.
Radiation safety and protection protocols.
Clear Understanding of Imaging modalities.
Image quality evaluation and optimization.
Excellent Communication skills and compassionate bedside manner.
Attention to detail and the ability to critically think.
Understanding of HIPPA and patient confidentiality.
Ability to work with a team and collaborate with Radiologists and technologists.

Pay
The salary range for this role is: $58-$75/hour
