Principle Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities
- Greet patients at the reception desk
- Enter orders for Radiology procedures per outpatient requests
- Auxiliary work for CAT scan Technologists (CT Techs)
- Assist patients with assessment forms
- Ensure medical necessity by calling the physician’s office
- Perform various clerical functions such as filing jackets, mailing reports, and CDs
- Handle phone calls
- Retrieve old film from nearby storage
- Transport patients when necessary
Qualifications
Medical office experience preferred
