About the role
Assists patients with preparation for imaging exams, supports technologists during procedures, cleans and restocks imaging rooms, maintains inventory, answers phones, relays messages, greets, escorts, and transports patients.
Responsibilities
- Verifies patient identification under supervision
- Positions patients, moves equipment, prepares exam rooms as directed
- Cleans and restocks imaging rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for next exam
- Maintains inventory of linens, supplies, and equipment, alerts staff when items are low
- Answers phones, relays messages, assists with communication between departments
- Greets, escorts, and transports patients to and from imaging areas
Requirements

- Knowledge of medical terminology (class or training preferred)

Qualifications
- High School Grad or Equivalent
- 1+ experience in hospital setting in radiology (preferred)
Skills
- Knowledge of communication styles
- Engagement behaviors when encountering patients, staff, and physicians
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Adequate discernment of patient and staff needs
- Professional interactions with all levels of internal and external customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptability to new situations and responsibilities
