About the role

The Department of Radiology at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking an Abdominal Imaging Radiologist with fellowship training at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage of multiple inpatient and outpatient facilities, the Montefiore Cancer Center, transplant program and a busy Emergency Department.
• Responsible for daily education and supervision of radiology residents and abdominal imaging fellows.
• Participate in departmental educational activities, tumor boards and other interdisciplinary conferences.
• Engage in research and educational pursuits, with time dedicated weekly for these activities.
• Proficient in abdominal and pelvic CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Fluoroscopy.
• Ability to perform CT-guided procedures is preferred.
• Specialize in Computed Tomography, Gastrointestinal Radiology, Genitourinary Radiology, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

Requirements

• Board certified/eligible in Abdominal Imaging Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging preferred.
• Experience with state-of-the-art MR, CT and Ultrasound equipment.
• Strong interest in academic radiology and research.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Current certification from the American Board of Radiology.
• License to practice medicine in the state of New York.

• Knowledge of medical ethics and patient confidentiality.
