RadioLOGIST Practice Information
Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team either as an employee, independent or partner. The ideal candidate would have a broad skillset, as all modalities and study types are required, including PET and mammo (recertification is possible). Must be comfortable with "light IR", including primarily biopsies, arthrograms and drainages. No vascular work. This position provides the rewards of a community based practice including patient interaction, and collaborative care with the medical community. This position can be a hybrid, part in-house and part remote. If partnership is desired, 26 weeks' vacation. Approximately 12,000 total cases per radiologist, per year. Approximately 8,000. 90-100 cases per day, including 2-3 procedures. No Call; teleradiology provides night & weekend reads. Working hours are 8am-5pm. If partnership is desired, may occasionally require evening work.

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a full time Radiologist to work in a Rural Health Clinic setting. HRRMC is located in the majestic Upper Arkansas Valley in central Colorado. The local towns of Salida and Buena Vista are known for their pleasant weather, vast recreation opportunities and vibrant arts scene. Both towns are located along the Arkansas River at elevations above 7,000 feet near the Continental Divide. We're approximately 135 miles south of Denver and 100 miles west of Colorado Springs. Recreation The Upper Arkansas Valley is an outdoor recreational dream. 80% of the land is public and six of every seven acres is designated as public lands, the Valley is the perfect location for hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, trail runners, rock climbers, atving, and hunters. In the winter there are designated snowmobile routes and backcountry skiing. Monarch Ski & Snowboard Area is just 18 miles west of Salida (http://www.skimonarch.com/). The Arkansas River is best known for its world-class Brown Trout fishing, kayaking, and whitewater rafting. Arts Salida and Buena Vista's art communities have taken root in each city's downtown historic district. Visitors can watch as painters, potters, jewelers, and sculptors work in their studio galleries. The Aspen Concert Series, Alpine Orchestra, and many different family-oriented festivals make both towns statewide tourist destinations.
