About the Role
Join a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in 21st-century radiology. As a Radiology Assistant, you’ll provide administrative and scheduling support for Radiologists and Technologists, aligning patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Schedule biopsies and MRIs
- Check Mammography and ultrasound schedules and requisitions for accuracy
- Respond to requests and questions efficiently, effectively, and in a positive fashion
- Remain aware of appointment delays and changes to schedules
- Communicate professionally with patients, referring physicians, and others over the phone
- Obtain and follow up on Pathology reports
- Call stat reports
- Obtain prior imaging and ensure the images are moved into our system
- Obtain patient information and conduct interviews needed to schedule biopsies
- Perform administrative duties such as managing charts and files
- Support Radiologists when they are reading images
Requirements
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledgeable of computers and Microsoft Office software
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
- A high level of integrity, confidentiality, and business ethics
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Recent work experience in a medical/radiology office (preferred)

$16.50–$21.50 per hour
