About the role

The Radiologic Technologist Weekend Option performs diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily using X-rays, to produce images for medical diagnosis and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Follow physician instructions to identify the imaging area
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure understanding
• Correctly position patients and adjust equipment for quality images
• Minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff
• Adhere to proper techniques, such as patient shielding, for accurate diagnostics
• Complete documentation to maintain accurate patient records
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• ARRT (R) certification
• Radiologic Technologist certification in DxBLS (CPR) from the American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider

This role requires working two shifts within the WEO window for a premium rate, with responsibilities focused on patient preparation, imaging operation, and safety compliance.
