Practices Infection Control

Maintains a properly stocked, organized, and clean room.

Documentation and Clerical Duties

• Completes required documentation for Radiologist support
• Answers telephones
• Completes patient records
• Fills out paperwork
• Schedules appointments

Direct Patient Care

• Maintains patient condition and ensures patient comfort, safety, and privacy
• Obtains and documents patient history
• Explains procedures to patients

Radiology Duties

• Performs imaging exams using established protocols
• Operates equipment safely and properly
• Monitors patient condition during exams
• Ensures compliance with facility policy for patient identification
• Edits protocols as necessary based on patient needs

Other Duties

• Screens patients for contrast allergies and childbearing age
• Minimizes radiation exposure to patients, families, and co-workers
• Patients and equipment positioning
• Selects technical factors for radiographic images

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range

$21.82 - $40.59
