About the role

The Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist plays a crucial role in providing exceptional care to patients at Concentra. This role involves preparing patients for radiologic procedures, operating equipment, ensuring patient safety, and supporting in other areas of the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Radiologic Technologist:

    • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
    • Escort patients to dressing and x-ray rooms, provide instructions, and assist in positioning.
    • Operate radiologic equipment to produce images for diagnostic purposes.
    • Ensure patient care, safety, and comfort during exams.
    • Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols.
    • Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation.
  • Medical Assistant:

    • Perform DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
    • Take vital signs and ancillary tests.
    • Absorb and administer vaccines, injections, and medications.
    • Assist with physical examinations and emergency care.
    • Complete quality assurance activities and maintain equipment.
    • Communicate with patients and manage their expectations.
    • Handle clerical tasks and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
    • ARRT certification.
  • Experience:

    • At least six months of medical assistant experience.
    • Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.
    • Prior medical office, healthcare, and customer service experience.
  • Skills:

    • Attention to detail.
    • Customer service skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information.
    • Microsoft Office proficiency.

Pay

Base compensation rate in the state range of $27.65 to $35.96 hourly, depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law.

Schedule

Hours and schedule vary based on department needs and patient demand.
