About the role
Aligned Orthopedic Partners is a private orthopedic team dedicated to providing high-quality orthopedic care. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Radiologic Technologist position.
Responsibilities
- Explain the procedure to the patient.
- Position the patient properly before images.
- Position radiation protection devices such as lead shields.
- Set x-ray equipment at the correct angle and height over the appropriate area of a patient's body.
- Set controls on the x-ray machine to produce x-rays or radiographs of the appropriate density, detail, and contrast.
- Follow the physician's orders precisely.
- Keep the patient records and adjust/maintain equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate’s degree or higher is preferred.
- Radiologic Technologist experience is preferred.
- Current Maryland Radiologic Technologist licensure is required.
- ARRT certification is required.
- Proven experience conducting X-Rays.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, regulations, and medical office procedures.
- Organizational and multitasking skills.
- Appearance, behavior, and communication skills must promote excellent customer service.
- Uphold HIPAA regulations.
- Comply with all OSHA mandates for dosimeter readings and quality assurance.
- Ability to adjust to changing situations.
Qualifications
$5000 sign on bonus! ($2500 after 30 days and $2500 after 90 days).
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
- Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
- Current Maryland Radiologic Technologist licensure required.
- ARRT certification required.
