About the role

The Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist at Concentra plays a crucial role in providing exceptional care to patients. This role involves preparing patients for radiologic procedures, operating equipment to produce images, and supporting in other areas of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Radiologic Technologist:
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
  • Escort patients to dressing and x-ray rooms, provide instructions, and assist with positioning.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams.
  • Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols.
  • Document procedures and complete required documentation.
• Medical Assistant:
  • Perform DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
  • Take vital signs and ancillary tests.
  • Absorb and administer vaccinations, injections, and medications.
  • Triage emergent patients.
  • Assist providers with examinations and treatments.
  • Complete quality assurance activities.
  • Stock and maintain medical devices.
  • Notify supervisors of equipment issues.
  • Communicate with patients about wait times.
  • Handle clerical tasks in both front and back offices.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and certified by the ARRT.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.

Pay & Schedule

Base compensation rate in the state range of $27.65 to $35.96 hourly, subject to job-related factors and applicable law.
