Radiologic Technologist (Surgery) - Full-Time - Days

About the role

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform advanced radiographic procedures, verify physician orders, and ensure diagnostic image quality. This role includes leading departmental programs, developing protocols, and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and perform radiographic procedures
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety
• Maintain and enforce safety standards in accordance with regulations
• Lead departmental programs and develop imaging protocols
• Mentor and train junior staff members
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure diagnostic image quality
• Participate in safety and accreditation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with privacy and safety standards
• Travel between facilities as required

Requirements

• Completed radiologic technology program
• At least 5 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration
• State licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

• Physical stamina for prolonged standing and patient assistance

Work Environment

This role involves exposure to patient environments and potential hazards, including radiation. Adherence to privacy and safety standards is mandatory.
