Radiologic Technologist - Full-Time - Days
Overview
Radiology Technologists at Henry Ford Health perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of Radiologists. They are responsible for ensuring that procedures are performed safely and according to established protocols.
Responsibilities
- Performs Radiologic procedures for the evaluation of pathological entities as ordered by a physician.
- Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Maintain the required hours of continued education.
- Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible.
- If registry eligible, registry must be obtained within 6 months of date of hire.
- Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
Qualifications
