Radiology Technologist (Full-Time Days)

About the Role

The role involves performing a variety of imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as X-Ray, CT, and PACS systems.
• Assist in patient care and support physicians, nurses, and staff during imaging procedures.
• Perform clinical procedures under supervision, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and laws.
• Document all procedures accurately in paper and electronic records.
• Perform routine maintenance, quality control, proficiency testing, and record-keeping activities.
• Collect lab samples and perform tests following established protocols and regulations.
• Maintain supplies and perform duties as needed, including travel to various facilities and ER support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
• Certification as a radiologic technologist and ARRT registration required; CT certification mandatory within specified timeframes.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• At least 2 years of radiologic/imaging experience and 1 year of CT and ER experience preferred.
• Proficiency with imaging equipment, hardware/software, and PACS, along with fluency in English.
