About the Role

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using X-rays or other modalities to produce images for medical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Follow physician instructions to identify areas for imaging and prepare patients accordingly.
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures and reduce anxiety.
• Position patients and adjust equipment to capture high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Apply proper techniques such as patient shielding to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Complete documentation for each procedure to maintain accurate patient records and support healthcare communication.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with graduation from a Radiology, Imaging, or related program.
• Valid ARRT (R) certification.
• CPR certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare.
