Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) – Day Shift – 5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join the radiology team. The role involves operating imaging equipment to produce high‑quality radiographic images, working independently while supporting accurate diagnoses across the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment in accordance with department protocols.
• Administer radiopaque contrast material for enhanced exams under radiologist supervision.
• Maintain a safe environment using proper protective devices and practices.
• Stay attentive to patient needs throughout exams, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Solve problems independently with limited supervision.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA‑approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registration.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross).
• Licensure by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
• Previous experience preferred.
