Radiologic Technologist - Day/FT - $5K Sign On Bonus

About the role

ChristianaCare is a nonprofit health system with a mission of service, partnering with patients and their families to provide effective, affordable, and valuable healthcare. The Radiology Department at the Newark Campus is recruiting for a full-time (80-hour) Radiologic Technologist on rotating evening and midnight shifts. This position includes working every 6th weekend and every third holiday.

Schedule

Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM, four days a week with 1 rotating comp day. Weekend call every 6th weekend and 1-2 holidays per year as a 24-hour call shift.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a content-level expert of radiographic equipment, including knowledge and proficiency in troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate expertise in radiology-supported computer and software systems.
  • Support and assist in the clinical training of staff and students.
  • Assist and demonstrate complex knowledge and proficiency in the use of procedural radiographic-specific equipment, including:
    • Various onsite C-Arms
    • Neuro, Trauma, Ortho, General, Urology, and Vascular Procedures
    • Portable X-Ray Machines for Intra-op, PACU, and HVIS use
    • Vascular Hybrid Room (operation and troubleshooting)
  • Operate the contrast power injector and understand different contrast mediums.
  • Perform procedural competence in:
    • Endografts, Angiography, Cardiac, and Trauma Applications
    • Spine and Pelvic Stealth Navigation Console (setup and integration with the O-Arm)
    • Recognition of all navigation instrumentation and their function

Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience as a staff technologist.
  • Completion of a two-year program in Radiology Technology.
  • ARRT registration.
  • Delaware State License.

Pay

This position pays a base pay between $35.39 and $48.66 per hour. The actual salary within this range will depend on individual factors including skills, relevant experience, and qualifications.
