Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) - Urgent Care

Position Highlights

• Sign‑On Bonus: $15,000 (or $10,000 for new graduates) – eligibility requirements apply
• Relocation Assistance: $5,000 for qualified candidates
• Location: Greensboro, NC – Friendly Center Urgent Care
• Shift Schedule: Full‑time, evenings

Requirements

• Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the ARRT in Radiologic Technology
• Must be registry‑eligible with completion of registry within one year of hire date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Essential Functions

• Perform and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
• Document patient history related to specific procedures on physician requisitions
• Confirm patient identification through verbal confirmation and proof of identity verification
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required
• Consult with radiologists and other physicians as necessary
• Select and operate equipment according to procedural demands, demonstrating correct anatomic positioning
• Maintain appropriate records in accordance with departmental standards

• Ability to apply skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served
