About the role

Perform a variety of technical tasks involved in operating radiographic equipment and making radiographs of designated portions of the body. Support the Radiology Department by handling clinical, administrative, and environmental duties, including transporting patients and performing clerical and organizational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions.
• Perform additional functions to support Radiology Department operations.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Handle clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.

Requirements

• Registered radiologic technologist with A.R.R.T. RT (R).
• BLS certification completed prior to starting and maintained throughout employment.
• Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility or medical office as a radiologic technologist (preferred).
