Radiologic Technologist PRN

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Chattanooga Orthopedics, part of HCA Healthcare, the nation's leading provider of healthcare services.

About the role

Seeking a Radiologic Technologist for our Chattanooga Orthopedics practice who provides specialized expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care. This is a PRN (as-needed) position with a schedule of Monday through Friday during the day—no nights, no on-call, no weekends, and no holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by attending physician
• Properly record patient information and maintain EHR
• Maintain patient comfort and adhere to proper safety procedures
• Maintain and improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and x-ray tech skills with support and assistance of outside educational resources
• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic/x-ray equipment
• May assist with general patient care if needed

Requirements

• Must hold a degree from an accredited school for Radiology Technology
• 2 years of training in an accredited school for Radiology Technology is required
• Minimum of 2 years of basic x-ray experience and/or trauma work is required
• Must have a current ARRT license
• Tennessee only: Must be additionally licensed by the state to perform radiologic services in a physician practice or clinic
