Radiologic Technologist PRN

About the role

Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.

Responsibilities

  • Performs radiographic examinations and operates radiographic equipment.
  • Provides high quality, diagnostic images for radiologists.
  • Develops and maintains professionalism through continuing education and in-services.
  • Complies with all system policies to deliver high-quality service.
  • Assists with patient care, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
  • Trains and completes Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Testing as needed.
  • Works PRN, assisting with patient flow and direct patient care.
  • Performs tasks such as vital signs and vision testing, with training provided.
  • Enters data into patient charts and processes records for outside vendors.

Requirements

  • Completion of an approved AMA school of radiologic technology or ARRT Credential.
  • Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education: BLS certification preferred (limited license acceptable).

Qualifications

  • Must be able to properly position patients and perform radiographic examinations.
  • Familiarity with all radiographic equipment and ability to operate it at any time.
  • Professionalism through continuing education and in-services.
  • Compliance with all system policies.
