About the role
Provide high-quality radiology services, ensuring patient safety and comfort while operating diagnostic equipment per safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform general and specialty radiographic images following clinical protocols.
- Accurately document patient information and evaluate image quality.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and radiation safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff, providing education and addressing patient needs across all age groups.
- Monitor patient conditions, respond to contrast reactions, and ensure confidentiality.
- Assist in training staff and coordinating workflow.
- Maintain a clean, stocked radiology room and adhere to safety, infection control, and OSHA policies.
- Rotate shifts as needed, including specialty procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and BLS certified.
- Demonstrates technical expertise, strong communication, problem-solving skills, and adherence to safety practices.
Preferred: one year of diagnostic procedure experience.
