About the role

This position involves providing high-quality radiology services in accordance with physician orders, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare radiology rooms, develop images, and operate equipment safely.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
  • Perform general and specialty radiographic procedures following clinical protocols.
  • Position patients comfortably and evaluate image quality for accuracy.
  • Obtain and document patient information accurately, ensuring proper identification and safety measures.
  • Respond to patient needs, explain procedures, and provide education across all age groups.
  • Maintain radiation safety standards, perform equipment checks, and participate in quality assurance activities.
  • Assist with staff training, monitor workflow, and contribute to operational policies.
  • Accurately enter data into electronic medical records and deliver exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and BLS certification required.
  • Adheres strictly to radiation safety, infection control, and safety protocols.

Skills

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of diagnostic procedure experience.
