About the role
This position involves providing high-quality radiology services in accordance with physician orders, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining diagnostic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare radiology rooms, develop images, and operate equipment safely.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
- Perform general and specialty radiographic procedures following clinical protocols.
- Position patients comfortably and evaluate image quality for accuracy.
- Obtain and document patient information accurately, ensuring proper identification and safety measures.
- Respond to patient needs, explain procedures, and provide education across all age groups.
- Maintain radiation safety standards, perform equipment checks, and participate in quality assurance activities.
- Assist with staff training, monitor workflow, and contribute to operational policies.
- Accurately enter data into electronic medical records and deliver exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and BLS certification required.
- Adheres strictly to radiation safety, infection control, and safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of diagnostic procedure experience.
