About the Role
A Radiologic Technologist responsible for acquiring high-quality diagnostic radiographic images in various procedures to ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
- Produces accurate radiographs while adhering to safety and infection control standards.
- Administers contrast materials and documents procedures.
- Maintains radiologic equipment and assists physicians during procedures.
- Interviews patients, explains procedures, screens for contraindications, and ensures patient comfort and safety.
- Performs quality assurance checks and follows radiation safety protocols.
- Participates in performance improvement and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program.
- ARRT(R) certification within 3 months of hire.
- TDSHS-MRT certification within 6 months of hire.
- CPR certification.
Skills

Additional Duties
- Serves as a resource for staff and may supervise operations.
