Radiologic Technologist II Interventional Radiology

Job Summary

Professionally trained individual who produces high quality radiographs for all interventional studies, assists with sterile setup, and maintains sterile technique throughout procedures.

Job Description

• Review patient histories
• Take precautions to prevent adverse reactions
• Strictly follow safety protocols to ensure safe and effective care
• Set up and assist with advanced intervention procedures, including venous access
• Monitor sedation and medications during these procedures
• Accurately record all patient data
• Ensure proper billing and coding
• Manage inventory to keep supplies well-stocked
• Familiarity with ICD and CPT codes is essential

Education, Credentials, Licenses

• Graduate of an approved accredited program of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT(R)(CV) or ARRT(R)(VI) registered
• CPR certification State Licensure: Kentucky:KBMIRT Radiation Operators License (Radiography)
• Indiana: Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) License – Radiologic Technologist
