Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Reviews patient history and physician orders, educates patients about procedures.
- Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within scope, monitors patient condition.
- Prepares equipment, selects appropriate imaging parameters, and ensures safety standards.
- Positions patients, executes imaging procedures, analyzes image quality, and resolves issues.
- Enters and transmits images, may collaborate with students, and demonstrates critical thinking with minimal supervision.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with required certifications and licensure if applicable.
- Current BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Strong attention to detail, decision-making skills, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
