About the role

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging and accurate documentation standards. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic imaging equipment
• Ensure patient safety during imaging procedures
• Maintain high-quality imaging and accurate documentation standards
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours
• No experience required
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice
• Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry or registry eligible. Achieved ARRT registry within 6 months of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
