Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging (PRN)

Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated anatomical areas, ensuring proper exposure and safety guidelines.
• Explain procedures to patients and position them appropriately using assistance devices and protective gear.
• Assist physicians during fluoroscopic and specialized radiographic procedures.
• Process and match images with paperwork for interpretation, maintaining quality standards.
• Utilize the Image Archival System effectively.
• Provide education, training, and orientation to new technologists and radiology programs.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program or ARRT Certification (preferred).
• Minimum two years of experience as a registered ARRT Radiologic Technologist (preferred).
• Current ARRT and BLS certifications.
