What You'll Help With
Transform healthcare by playing a crucial role in patient care. Your responsibilities include:
- Applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis to patients.
- Assessing patients before, during, and after procedures according to CMC Guidelines.
- Evaluating and positioning patients to obtain quality images with a high degree of professionalism, care, courtesy, patience, and safety.
- Performing IV contrast injections, urinary catheterizations, and other procedures as required.
- Observing patients for adverse reactions and assisting when necessary.
- Operating highly specialized fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment, including CR and DR systems.
- Maintaining records and maintaining all procedural data.
- Communicating with physicians, nursing staff, other hospital staff, and patients.
- Participating in cross-training for basic laboratory phlebotomy and operating waived testing equipment according to CLIA regulations.
- Preparing patients for examination and explaining procedures.
- Evaluating lab results, patient history, and relaying to radiologist or procedure performing physician.
- Assisting physicians during radiological or sterile diagnostic procedures.
What We Require
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology required.
- Experience: None required.
- Licensure, Certification, and Registration: ARRT registry or registry eligible. AHA BLS-HCP required.
What You Get
- Compensation Range: $27.70 - $41.55 per hour.
- Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience.
- The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
