About the role

The Radiologic Technologist is required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients. Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists are required to utilize sterile techniques, if necessary, operate complex radiographic equipment, and assist physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System. Continuing education, learned skills and experience will be utilized. This position will function without constant supervision to produce superior quality diagnostic radiographs. The technologist must be versatile in any given routine diagnostic area.

Responsibilities

  • Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients
  • Utilize sterile techniques when necessary
  • Operate complex radiographic equipment
  • Assist physicians throughout the Mission Health System
  • Produce superior quality diagnostic radiographs without constant supervision
  • Be versatile in any given routine diagnostic area

Requirements

  • Graduate of JRCERT accredited School of Radiography
  • ARRT registered
  • Completes requirements for CEU for re-certification
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum six months experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department (approved experience gained through a clinical education program is acceptable)
