Radiologic Technologist

Introduction

The MDNow Urgent Care Clinic operates Monday-Sunday 8am-8pm and seeks a Radiologic Technologist who can work during these hours. This position is incentive eligible with up to $4,000 sign-on bonus.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist who can provide expertise and champion patient care. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing all required Radiological and Lab duties in accordance with license and performing front desk duties as assigned.
• Demonstrating excellence in customer service and patient satisfaction.
• Working with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and patients receive high quality care and services.
• Providing care to patients in a timely manner.
• Performing all x-ray views according to provider’s orders, clinical practice under state law and in compliance with company policy and procedures.
• Documenting the patient record according to established clinical practice and company policies and procedures.
• Performing drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests accurately.
• Processing specimens for reference labs.
• Helping support front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
• Maintaining, calibrating and performing controls on lab/x-ray equipment daily.
• Inspecting and reporting artifacts from the x-ray screen.
• Operating equipment according to policy and manufacturer guidelines.
• Completing semi-annual X-Ray inspections.
• Maintaining records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, x-rays, and lab work sent out to other labs.
• Performing equipment audits as scheduled.
• Ensuring the occupational client’s work form is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
• Working closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Following all company policies pertaining to infection control and hand hygiene.
• May be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations.
