About the role
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures at a technical level with minimal supervision. The role involves responsibility for procedures, manipulating x-ray equipment, evaluating radiographs, and ensuring patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic exams accurately and safely
- Handle equipment and adjust exposure factors
- Recognize emergency situations and adapt accordingly
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with clinical hours completed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State licensure (required in Arkansas)
- ARRT registry or eligibility, with registry achievement within 6 months or 1 year in Arkansas
Qualifications
- Technical skills in radiologic procedures
- Understanding of anatomy
- Proficiency with radiographic equipment and computers
- Ability to manipulate equipment, transport patients, evaluate images, and communicate effectively
