Radiologic Technologist

About the role

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures at a technical level with minimal supervision. The role involves responsibility for procedures, manipulating x-ray equipment, evaluating radiographs, and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic exams accurately and safely
• Handle equipment and adjust exposure factors
• Recognize emergency situations and adapt accordingly

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with clinical hours completed
• High school diploma or equivalent
• State licensure (required in Arkansas)
• ARRT registry or eligibility, with registry achievement within 6 months or 1 year in Arkansas

Qualifications

• Technical skills in radiologic procedures
• Understanding of anatomy
• Proficiency with radiographic equipment and computers
• Ability to manipulate equipment, transport patients, evaluate images, and communicate effectively
