Radiologic Technologist

Role: Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, reviewing scans with Radiologists, and ensuring patient safety and care. Key Responsibilities: Confirm patient identity and procedure details, communicate effectively to obtain history and informed consent, explain procedures to ease patient anxiety, recognize and address clinical or emergent issues, respond to critical findings, evaluate lab values, maintain equipment and work environment, adhere to quality control and sterile techniques, and complete clerical tasks including data entry in PACS systems. Qualifications & Skills: Preferably trained in Radiologic Technology, with healthcare experience, and certified with ARRT and BLS. Physical demands include medium exertion, frequent standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motions. Strong sensory skills in vision and hearing are required. Additional Information: No supervisory duties. Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, airborne diseases, and radiation is reasonably anticipated. Serves diverse populations, including neonates, children, and adults. Emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care within a supportive, inclusive work environment.
