SEIU pay range: $39.16 to $58.91 dependent on experience. $10,000 sign-on bonus for applicants who have zero seniority at CMH and meet all other conditions for payment. To receive the sign-on bonus, applicant must sign an offer letter by December 31, 2026, and begin working within three weeks of acceptance. Eligible for CMH employee referral bonus, priority recruitment, and relocation assistance.

About the role

This position performs radiographic exams at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical exams that require independent judgment. Assumes responsibility for designated clinic areas of exams as required. Must be flexible as needs arise and possess willingness to acquire new or perform different skills while adapting to a changing environment. May be asked to float to the hospital or other clinic locations. Responsible for cleaning and stocking x-ray exam room(s).

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic exams with independent judgment
  • Assume responsibility for designated clinic areas
  • Clean and stock x-ray exam room(s)
  • Participate in holiday coverage rotation as required
  • Float to hospital or other clinic locations as needed

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of general diagnostic radiography, including surgical, portable, and orthopedic studies
  • Appropriate oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and exercise independent judgment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment while juggling multiple priorities
  • ARRT Registration and Certification
  • Current Oregon State Radiologic Technologist License
  • Current BLS certification through American Heart Association
  • Maintain continuing education requirements as specified by the State of Oregon and ARRT

Qualifications

  • Preferably experience in an acute care setting and with direct patient care in a clinic setting

Skills

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Verbal and clerical skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Generally good health with the ability to use mobile radiographic equipment for patient care
  • Ability to transport patients, assist in patient transfers, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Position involves standing, walking, stooping, and occasional carrying
  • Work is fast-paced and in a changing environment
  • Works inside, with walking and standing much of the time while on duty
  • Occasional long shifts necessary
