Radiologic Tech - Weekend Team - Days - FT
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Emergency Department Team Leader, the Weekend Supervisor, and/or at the direction of the radiologist, performs a variety of diagnostic radiographic exams.
About the Role
The technologist assists with invasive procedures using sterile technique. This position requires independent judgment and initiative in utilizing traditional, computerized, and digital radiographic equipment to create high quality diagnostic radiographic images. Strict adherence to the Radiology Weekend Team Policy regulating working hours and time-off is required.

Requirements
- Licensed and registered as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT certified and ARRT registry eligible).
- BLS certification completed prior to starting the unit/departments and maintained going forward.
- Knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive care appropriate to the age of the patients seen in the Radiology Department.
- Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
- Knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
Qualifications
A graduate of an ARRT approved radiologic technology program. Medical and/or hospital clinical experience required. Basic computer experience (1-2 years work experience or college level classes). Prior hospital and/or physician office background preferred.
Skills
Knowledge of traditional, computerized, and digital radiographic equipment. Ability to adhere to the Radiology Weekend Team Policy. Knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
