Radiologic Tech Per diem - Mammo

Per diem position offering Monday–Friday shifts varying from 7am–5pm, weekends 8am–4:30pm at Union Corners Clinic. This position will work at multiple locations, both diagnostic and screening. Must be able to work multiple weekend shifts and/or back-up call each month as well as pick up a minimum of one weekday shift per week. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of routine, complex, and specialized procedures under the general supervision of the section Team Lead and Radiology Manager.
• Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
• Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.
• Coordinate and actively participate in the training of other Imaging technologists, fellows, residents, physicians, and visiting health care professionals.
• Serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and assist in training other Imaging technologists.

Requirements

• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology (Required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Preferred)
• Previous healthcare experience (Required)
• 2 years of clinical experience (Preferred)

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography (R) Certification (Upon Hire, Required)
• Wisconsin Radiological License (Upon Hire, Required)
• ARRT Mammography (M) certification (within 30 months, Required)
• CPR certification (within 3 months, Required)
