We are seeking a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist within Mammography to perform a wide variety of routine, complex, and specialized procedures under the general supervision of the section Team Lead and Radiology Manager.

Schedule

  • Per diem position offering Monday–Friday shifts varying from 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, weekends 8:00 AM–4:30 PM at Union Corners Clinic.
  • Must work multiple weekend shifts and/or back-up call each month, plus pick up a minimum of one weekday shift per week.
  • Hours may vary based on department operational needs.
  • Position will work at multiple locations, including both diagnostic and screening sites.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, complex, and specialized mammographic procedures.
  • Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and triage routine and emergent procedures.
  • Coordinate and actively participate in the training of other Imaging technologists, fellows, residents, physicians, and visiting healthcare professionals.
  • Serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and assist in training other Imaging technologists.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology (Required).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Preferred).
  • Previous healthcare experience (Required).
  • Two years of clinical experience (Preferred).

Qualifications

  • ARRT Radiography (R) Certification (Required upon hire).
  • Wisconsin Radiological License (Required upon hire).
  • ARRT Mammography (M) certification (Required within 30 months).
  • CPR certification (Required within 3 months).
