Radiography Technologist - FT, Nights

About the role

Performs a variety of radiographic procedures applying ionizing radiation, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities

• Assist in advanced procedures such as ERCPs, fluoroscopies, OR procedures, lumbar punctures, bronchoscopies, and more, demonstrating technical competency and troubleshooting skills.
• Perform critical care procedures, assess patient conditions, and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Ensure quality control by checking images, documenting details, and preparing studies for radiologist review.
• Promote patient care, safety, and satisfaction, communicating delays and coordinating smooth workflow.
• Operate PACS and EMR systems effectively, manage charges, and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain compliance with organizational values and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Certified through an accredited radiology program
• ARRT registered
• SCRQSA certification (South Carolina)
• CPR certification

Additional Information

This is a non-management position reporting to a supervisor, with responsibilities including patient interaction, image quality assurance, and departmental support, located at Blount Memorial Hospital on the night shift.
