About the Role
This position involves providing high-quality radiologic imaging and patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The technologist reviews patient history, performs imaging procedures based on physician orders, administers contrast media safely, and monitors patient conditions. They ensure image clarity, quality control, and equipment functionality, often precepting new staff and contributing to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic procedures and evaluate patient history.
- Administer contrast media and respond to patient condition changes.
- Ensure high-quality images and optimal equipment use.
- Model professionalism and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- At least one year of experience.
- ARRT registration and applicable state licensure if mandated.
- BLS certification with a valid CPR card prior to start.
