Role Overview
Provides high-quality radiologic imaging and patient care, utilizing expertise in radiography to perform procedures based on physician orders. Demonstrates proficiency in safety, image quality, and equipment functionality while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing patient history and educating patients about procedures
- Safely administering contrast media and monitoring patient condition
- Responding to patient condition changes and ensuring image clarity
- Precepting new staff and contributing to a team-oriented, innovative clinical environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- One year of relevant experience
- ARRT registration, with specialty certifications if required
- State licensure if mandated by law
- BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire
