Radiographer

About the Role

Responsible for performing radiographic exams, providing patient education, practicing radiation safety, and assisting with basic patient care and laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Taking x-rays following protocols and proper positioning
• Explaining procedures to patients and ensuring safety measures
• Assisting with triaging, discharge, and basic patient care as workflow allows
• Measuring vital signs and performing simple lab tests like EKGs and specimen collection

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent and completion of an approved R.T program
• Current ARRT certification, Maryland Radiographer License, and CPR certification
• Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy
• Proficiency with x-ray equipment and excellent customer service skills
• Effective communication, reliability, and flexibility to work long shifts, including weekends and holidays

Pay

Competitive hourly pay ($35-$40) with a sign-on bonus.
