Radio Station Manager

The Role

Manage and grow WOAK 90.9 FM, a local Christian radio station with a listening area of 80,000+. The station broadcasts 50% music and 50% programming featuring speakers like Charles Stanley, Adrian Rogers, David Jeremiah, and others. The station is currently under renovation after its tower collapse in 2020, with plans to relocate to a new tower and update its website.

Responsibilities

• Manage and program the station, balancing music and spoken word content
• Acquire new churches and sponsors
• Build and maintain the station’s technical systems
• Collaborate with the advisory board for community input

• Management experience and organizational skills
• Knowledge of programming and clock building
• Judgment for balanced music and programming

Qualifications

• Experience managing a radio station or similar broadcast environment
